Indecision and other Fooby virtues.
Feb. 19th, 2007 07:06 amIf you spend your life running away crying from your problems like the Foobs do, the worst trauma you're going to face is having to make decisions. When a clear choice has to be made, the Pattersaints can usually be found feebly wringing their hands at the horror of actually having to decide between two alternative courses of action. Given their otherworldly lack of real awareness of the great big dirty world out there, they become paralyzed with fear when it rears its head like that. Days are spent agonizing over a decision normal people would have made long ago and the rash choice they DO make is based not on a careful analysis of the situation but as the result of a nit-witted emotional outburst. The only reason these ditherers aren't in the poorhouse is their preternatural good luck.
