Snowballs are for lovers.....

As you may or may not know, forworse has uncovered a bizarre belief the Pattersons share: their belief that a snowball fight is a courtship ritual. Always and ever do we see Foobs bonding by getting out into the snow and wind and pelting one another with snowballs in order to get the appreciative attention of the opposite sex; not only have John and Elly done so, Anthony and Liz as well as Mike and Deanna have fired off snowballs at one another to show that they care. The problem, of course, is that picky-faces like me ask uncool questions like "Who the Hell does stuff like this?", "Has Lynn ever been hit in the head with a snowball?" and "Why does she think that getting a slushball in the face is charming?" About the only entertaining thing about this is that we get a reminder of the creepy-ass tendency towards incest these people have.
