Indeed. The Pattersons' record with pets is pretty bad. At least we never saw Liz treating Shiimsa badly. Knowing Ant, though, he probably resented it whenever he saw Liz petting her, so the kitty may well have left in search of a human who'd pay her some attention. Cats love attention.
