If John's car exploded with him in it, then more power to us. The jerk would be dead, April would never exist (unless, of course, April was never John's biological daughter, but that's a theory for another day), and Elly could indulge her "poor me" complex.
Of course, having John die wouldn't be nearly as satisfying as offing Les Moore, or anyone from 9CL, but we can all dream, right?
