April's High School Daze!

If we didn't already know that Lynn was simply phoning in her strip nowadays, looking at how she depicts April and her life in high school would soon convince us that was the case. The last time I recall seeing a member of the faculty in the strip was when they insituted the uniform policy. After that, nothing. I've never seen April interact with a teacher in any way since then. Nor have have I seen her in class or do homework since Lynn got on her hind legs and decried the evil evilness of the evil Internet of evil. What I do see is her at her locker by herself, ineptly championing the Special Needs Kids by, again, herself, slandering her sitting-duck antagonist with the aid of one of the only friends she actually has and her solo love affair with Gerald, the shaved ape. Her lame-ass garage band is the only thing she has going for her that keeps the other students from asking each other 'Who is that?' when she passes by because she doesn't have any other outside interests. The image I have in my mind when I think of April is a ghost wandering the hallways of R. P. Boire HS, passing through a crowd of the living without interacting with them in any way.
